The machine integrates raw materials, cutting, shaping, and packaging processes to produce underpads efficiently and with consistent quality.

Features:

Raw Material Feeding System:

• The machine has multiple feeding stations for various raw materials used in underpad production, such as non-woven fabrics, tissue paper, fluff pulp, super absorbent polymer (SAP), and polyethylene film (backsheet). These materials are automatically fed into the machine from rolls.

Absorbent Core Formation

• The absorbent core is created using a combination of fluff pulp and SAP (super absorbent polymer), which provides high absorption capacity. The machine evenly distributes the fluff pulp and SAP to ensure that the core can absorb large amounts of liquid and retain it.

Non-Woven Fabric and Backsheet Application:

• The machine applies a soft, breathable non-woven fabric to the top layer (in contact with the skin) and a waterproof polyethylene film to the bottom layer (backsheet). The non-woven fabric ensures comfort and dryness, while the backsheet prevents leakage.

Sealing and Edge Binding:

• The edges of the underpad are sealed through heat sealing or ultrasonic welding, ensuring that the absorbent material stays in place and that the underpad is leak-proof. Some machines also apply adhesive around the edges to further secure the layers.

Cutting and Shaping:

• The machine uses high-precision cutting tools to trim the underpads into desired shapes and sizes. Standard sizes for adult underpads include 60x90 cm, but the machine can be adjusted to produce different sizes based on market demand.
